Description

7.4 Billion people in the world. Mutant #07, would have slain them all to keep #01 safe.
But betrayed by his own ability, 07 doesn't trigger any reflex at the right time, costing the life of the person he loved most in the world.
Now she that she is gone, #07 spends the rest of his days drinking and getting into fights which he purposely loses.
-01 now lives only his his mind, where she gives him one last dance as the memories slowly fade away. -
But time goes on, as so shall we.

9 hours to paint - (www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6GIGL… this song kept me working)
I'm using a painting technique I learnt watching shilin and Bluefley in action.
btw I am sorry I am not posting anything, it's just every painting represents a new skill level for me.
So to me every painting is a study and has to be better than the last one.
Although, I have a lot paintings that I never published and I will be posting soon (but they aren't my latest ones, just ones that I kinda abandoned as I moved on to new ones)

Let me know what you think of this piece

Hello DrawingWithArthuz

This is a great image, moving and powerful. I like how it is devoid of any other elements that could detract from the central figures.

I only have two criticisms, and the first is her hair by her lips. It looks like she is eating the strands (or the blue tendrils enveloping the male figure). Not sure if this is part of a larger story, but to me it takes me out of the image. The second is her left hand around the man's shoulder. There is something not quite right anatomically, but I think with a few more revisions it would get there.

Otherwise that's it. Great use of color, composition, and technique. The emotion the image is conveying is done simply, clearly, and directly.
